TARRS is run on enitrely voluntary basis by a small, dedicated group of animal lovers. We take no salary for our work and make time for the dogs and cats in our care around our normal commitments. We rely enitrely on the generosity of the public and are grateful for all donations, no matter how small.
TARRS takes on dogs with behavioural problems and those that are difficult to rehome - we do not give up. Click here to read about some of our special cases.

Sponsor a TARRS Dog or Cat
You may prefer to sponsor one of the animals in our care long term or while they are finding a home.

Sponsor a Dog or Cat You can help a dog or cat in need while waiting for his or her forever home. We have long term kennelled dogs that are desperate for someone to support them until their new family comes along We have cats like Cleo (in picture) and kittens who have been in the rescue for a few months and have not yet found their forever homes who would love someone to sponsor them while they are in the rescue and T-bag (below Cleo) a very wonderful staffi x who cannot live with other animals but is fabulous with children of all ages. If you are unable to look after a pet but want to show a rescue animal that someone out there is looking over them, you can help by sponsoring them while in rescue for as little as £5 a month or more if you wish. We currently spend £7.00 a day on kennelling fees to save our homeless dogs before a fosterer becomes available, this can sometimes take months. |

You can sponsor as little as £5 a month, or more if you wish!
Leave a Legacy
You may decide to leave a gift to TARRS in your will.
